Remembering WMC 08

We thought we would reminisce….

Here’s some of your favorite Omies most memorable moments from the WMC – -

“Cobblestone Jazz, Ancient Astronauts and Samantha James!!” – Gunnar

“My most memorable Miami moment was definitely at the Om Records Party at Karu and Y. It was about 4:45am in the morning in the Om: Soul room when Daz-I-Kue was rocking the spot to a fully packed crowd. He was playing call and response with the crowd asking ‘Do you want to hear the grime or do want to hear the revival?’ Everyone put their hands up for the Revival as Daz proceeded to let people know how it goes down in West London!” – Jonathan (here with Rob G and our ride for the evening!)

“It has to be the 8:00 beach ball battle in the garden—there’s video people!” – Chris (with our old pal Tamara)

“Without a doubt – Cobblestone Jazz’s set at our party. It blew me away!! ” -Boz (seen here with Tom from Beatport and Chuck Love)

“Ah…how sad, the whole trip is a little fuzzy! I would say riding in the cop limo, selling pretty much all of our merch, and hearing sneaks set which was dope!!!” – Samantha

“Of course all the amazing sets that everyone threw down, but nothing beats standing behind Mark backstage and watching hundreds of hands fly in the air with complete and utter happiness at almost 5 in the morning… and it kept getting better after that!” – Lindsay (Shout out Kitty!)

Candace and Marissa were at the party too, didn’t get memorable moments from them…. maybe cause they had too much fun??
